Over the past 10 years the South
West Focus Conference has become the region’s premier economic
forum, attracting decision makers from throughout the South West
and metropolitan area.
The conference attracts speakers from
a variety of sectors including government, land development,
tourism, commerce and industry, mining and mineral
resources.
The South West Chambers of
Commerce and Industry, together with the South West
Development Commission, host the South West
Focus Conference as an initiative to support business
development in the region.
The theme of
the recent 2009 Conference was Australia’s South West
- Engaging Global Industries.
The event was held in Bunbury on April 2
and attracted a diverse range of speakers, including AFL coaching
great Kevin Sheedy.
