The South West of Western Australia is the regional economic powerhouse of the State and has a diverse range of businesses actively participating in the global economy. There are increasing opportunities for people to engage in the international marketplace and with applied creative thinking, many other local businesses can be a successful part of the global economy.

Experts from as far away as Mumbai joined us in Bunbury on 2 April 2009 to speak about a variety of opportunities for the South West – and how you too can achieve an international presence.

The theme of the conference was “engaging global industries”. It highlighted developments within the South West and the opportunities and challenges of doing business in economic hot spots around the world.
